She said, “The price of flour which is our major commodity is too high. Every day we go to buy, there must be a very significant increase. The price of a bag of flour is now more than N40,000. What are we going to do?
She pointed out that majority of the manufacturers are single mothers with the enormous responsibility of fending for their families. She pointed out that the price of flour is threatening their capital and trying to get them off business.
She further stressed that they have no option but to down their tools, pray for God’s intervention and see how far it will go.
“Most people who are less privileged depend on Gurasa because they cannot afford bread, so it is not about us alone but the masses who also rely on us to feed,” she said.
