    HJRBDA vows to improve food security, economic development

    The newly appointed Managing Director, Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi said the new leadership of the authority will focus on improving food security and economic development in the region, leveraging expertise in water resources management and agricultural development.

    Bichi, made this known while appreciating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for finding him worthy of the appointment.

    He said, “I am eager to collaborate with all stakeholders to harness the potential of the authority. We will focus on improving food security and economic development in the region, leveraging the authority’s expertise in water resources management and agricultural development.

    “You have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to providing food security through your indomitable support of Agriculture by providing the necessary inputs to practical farmers. The tons of Fertilizer you have provided to farmers for this dry season farming is unprecedented and worthy of mention.”

     

    He therefore extend deep appreciation to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the National Working Committee for their steadfastness in promoting the ideals of the party and his tireless efforts to drive growth, sustainability, and progress in promoting a vision for a prosperous and united Nigeria.

     

    Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had approved the appointment of new leadership into the authority including Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Baffa Dan Datti Abdulkadir, Hajia Zainab Gamawa, Tijjani Musa Isa and Ma’amun Da’u Aliyu as Chairman.
