Ojulari described Nigeria’s downstream landscape as one undergoing significant transition, with opportunities for reform and collaboration. He noted that Africa’s energy demand is set to grow in the coming years, positioning Nigeria as a key player in shaping the continent’s energy future.
He said collective responsibility and coordinated efforts among stakeholders are essential to harness these opportunities and ensure long-term, inclusive sectoral growth.
The NNPC Ltd. boss reaffirmed the company’s commitment to maintaining consistent fuel availability, competitive pricing, and strict quality standards across its retail network.
“Creating a sustainable economy depends on supply partnerships, infrastructure co-investments, security collaboration, host community cooperation, and operational alliances,” Ojulari said.
He commended the National Assembly and the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream) for hosting the forum, stressing NNPC Ltd.’s dedication to fostering stakeholder engagement and strengthening collaborative models for sector-wide progress.
The event, themed “Celebrating Our Successes, Confronting Our Challenges, and Finding Solutions for the Petroleum Downstream Sector,” drew participants from across the petroleum industry and legislature.
